Job Overview
A leading haulage truck company based in Harare is urgently seeking to recruit an experienced and suitably qualified Workshops Manager to oversee its workshop operations and fleet maintenance activities.
The ideal candidate must have substantial experience working for a transport or haulage company operating a fleet of more than 100 trucks. Applicants must possess strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, as well as proven experience in managing workshop operations within a busy haulage environment.
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to oversee workshop operations and ensure that the company's trucks and trailers are properly maintained and kept in good working condition. The role requires effective coordination of maintenance activities, technical problem-solving and efficient management of workshop resources to support the smooth running of haulage operations.

Requirements
- Minimum Requirements
- To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of five (5) years of working experience as a Workshops Manager.
- Previous experience working for a transport or haulage company operating a fleet of more than 100 trucks.
- Hands-on technical knowledge and experience with Freightliner, Shacman, Columbia and Volvo trucks, as well as trailers.
- A strong understanding of heavy-duty truck maintenance and workshop operations.
- Proven ability to manage workshop activities in a demanding transport and haulage environment.
